The South Bay of Los Angeles seen from Palos Verdes- including Torrance Beach, with Redondo Beach in the distance - the jetty at Topaz St. can be seen at the top of the bay. The blue building is the Wyland mural, "Whaling Wall".
The Pt. Vicente Lighthouse on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, built in 1926, it still has the original lens in the tower. Run by the U.S. Coast Guard now, it still warns passing ships of the cliffs and also uses a horn in times of fog, which is common in this area. If you look closely, a bird can be seen sitting on top of the lighthouse.
Looking south from the top of Inspiration Point, in Palos Verdes, CA., towards the golf course at Trump and San Pedro beyond. The clear waters here and it's kelp forest attract a wide variety of sea life, as well as scuba divers and snorkelers.
