Looking south from the edge of Inspiration Point, Palos Verdes, CA. Trump National Golf Course is on the headland in the distance. The waters here with their kelp forest are a fantastic spot to scuba dive or snorkel. The tide pools at the bottom of the photo are a great place to explore.
The Pt. Vicente Lighthouse on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, built in 1926, it still has the original lens in the tower. Run by the U.S. Coast Guard now, it still warns passing ships of the cliffs and also uses a horn in times of fog, which is common in this area. If you look closely, a bird can be seen sitting on top of the lighthouse.
Looking south from the top of Inspiration Point, in Palos Verdes, CA., towards the golf course at Trump and San Pedro beyond. The clear waters here and it's kelp forest attract a wide variety of sea life, as well as scuba divers and snorkelers.
